What is the goal?

I follow both sides here, flat earth subs as well as globe earth subs. I see an awful lot of posts about globers being banned from subs like this, particularly this one. I get dealing with flat out trolls… but a ton are being banned for asking what I feel to be fair questions that any of you can easily answer. If the goal is to spread awareness and show people the truth, how are we doing that by avoiding or actively shutting down discord whenever someone poses a question we don’t like?
