Moon Question

So I live on the east coast of North America, yesterday was a full moon and at around 10pm I saw it on the western sky (as normal). Today it should be phased to a waxing gibbous (10pm) but it’s not in the western sky or mid sky, in fact on my star app it’s showing its still on the east barely over the horizon I just want to confirm if anyone is seeing this. Did the moon’s path slow down after the super moon or what?
