Some nasholes already reached the firmament, but its a secret.
I don’t think it’s possible to find out the exact height. Some, including zetetic astronomy have triangulated the sun to be 3-4k miles up. The issue is that the gasses get so light, they can no longer be pushed upon by combustion to create propulsion. I believed that happens somewhere about the 70-100 mile mark. If I had to guess, I’d say 500-1000 miles up.

I’ve heard there are declassified Russian military documents talking about how they tried to breakthrough, but couldn’t. Haven’t found them for myself, yet.

It’s a dome, so different parts are at different elevations. But the amateur rocket from the west of USA I believe hit it at 240ish miles
